Happy Birthday to ME!

So this past weekend was my birthday. I had a great day and got many fun things. Marin enjoyed being one of my presents, she thought the bow was just fantasic. I got 2 cakes, my Grandma accidently brought jello instead of my cake, I have a picture of it some where.... Anyway once we all had a good laugh about that we drove down to her house to eat the real cake. It was yummy, I prefered it to the jello. This picture was taken a few days ago, so here is our darling little family! I hope everyone has a great Christmas! I doubt anything super exiciting happens between now and then. So I will talk to you all after Christmas!

Lights at the Lowes' Parking Lot

So the other day we met up with Johnny and Jeana to have dinner and go see the lights at temple square, as you can imagine by the title, we didn't make it to temple square. We had dinner over at the White's and then we headed out to temple square, about half way there our one and only working car blew up on us!! AWESOME! Anyway. We were able to get to an old Lowes' parking lot and waited for a ride. Marin loved watching the working cars drive by.

The parking lot was pitch black so when we would take a picture she would blink over and over and then she would get a big ol smile on her face. It was pretty funny. However when she was looking at you a red light would flash first and you get a wonderfully suprised look, like so....

Overall at least when the car broke down and the heater didn't work we were well prepared to stay warm until our ride got there, so it blows that we don't have a car, however it was nice that it broke down when we were "prepared" Merry Christmas to us!!! Sorry Johnny and Jeana! We will have to get together again.

Don't tell me you didn't look at this and laugh! I think it is just about as cute as can be! Hope everyone had a great thanksgiving, I know we in the Ludwig household had a great thanksgiving, even if we had a fussy baby, it was still a great day.

Skeggings?!?!

I don't know if you have ever heard of skeggings, I certainly haven't but I love them I think they are so cute. They are a skirt and leggings all rolled into one, genius! By Marin's face I am not sure how she feels about it, but I think they are cute.

Marin Sits and Spits!!!!

Today was an exciting and a little bit depressing day for me. My baby sits up by herself for longer than a minute. I was sitting behind her thinking look at her , she is like a toddler. I know she isn't close but it makes her seem so much older when she starts doing "big girl" things.

Mark and Marin watched the first part of the BYU football game, sitting by herself, however there were a few tip over moments good thing Dad was there to catch her. She loves to suck on her pointer finger, can you tell?

And the spits, so it was half time and we had a fussy baby so Mark thought he would walk around with her on his shoulders and apartly she just needed to spit up, I am sure she feels so much better now. However she is tired and not going to bed and Mark is watching her and the game is about to start so I better go get her. But HA HA HA I laughed really hard when this happened. I would of died, but good on Mark he just laughed, that's my man.

Football!

Mark is starting her young watching football, she will sit there happily with him for pretty much the whole game which is nice for me I get things accomplished, but I am still not sure how I feel about it.......

Boo at the Zoo!

So with this last weekend being nice we thought that we would go to zoo along with half of the state of Utah. However for once in our life we were no where near the crowd we were in front of it or behind it. Sooo nice!

Marin as you can imagine had no interest in the animals, but she loved being outside!

Lori and Valerie came with us, she was so cute in her butterfly costume.

Marin's first train ride, all the way around the zoo, well kind of. All in all I say it was a successful day! Good times!

1. Where did you meet your husband? Mark and I were set up on a blind date by none other than his mother, how many people can say a blind date set up by their Mom worked out, I am one of the few and proud, well maybe not proud but definatly one of the few.
2. How long did you date before you got married? 5 months, yep 5 months!
3. How long have you been married? 2 ½ Years
4. What does he do that surprises you? Mark is full of surprises, so most everything he does surprises me, in a nice way of course.
5. What is your favorite feature of his? Good one, there are so many hum…well this is hard and I am going to sound cheesy but when he smiles (which I love) it makes his eyes “sparkle” (which I also love) I do love his skinny frame although it can make me feel like a cow I still love it.
6. What is his best quality? He cares about things that are important in life like his family.
7. Does he have a nickname for you? Sure, he calls me babe a lot.
8. What is his favorite food? Are you kidding? The boy eats pretty much everything and loves it all, I know he loves Sushi
9. What is his favorite sport? Sadly I don’t know, he loves Football, but he watches baseball too and he likes to play golf
10. When and where did you first kiss? His couch and I couldn’t tell you the date, wait I can check, never mind November sometime.
11. What is your favorite thing to do as a couple? Anything we like doing lots of different stuff, hanging out with friends is one of our favorites.
12. Do you have any children? Sure do! Marin.
13. Does he have any hidden talents? Hidden nope anything Mark can do you know about it. Actually he is a very talented artist, people might not know that.

15. What is his favorite music? He can listen to pretty much anything and even classical if it is on Baby Einstein see what fun toys do to classical music?!
17. What do you admire most about him? Oh this is a mushy question and I am not a mushy person, but I admire a lot about Mark and if he reads this hopefully he knows what those qualities are.
18. What is his favorite color? He likes all colors however he wears a lot of brown, which looks lovely on him.

A new Niece!

So Marin has a new cousin, Aurora May. Aurora is Frieda and Jeff's baby and Valerie is Jimmy and Lori's little girl. Cute!

This was a few weekends ago my Mom's Aunt Diane gave her this outfit, it was finally cold enough for her to wear it. She is laying on Mark's lap here.
Here is Mark and Marin, Mark had been roofing this week you can tell he is mighty tan, especially comared to Marin. We cut Michael's head off in this picture, sorry Mike. However it is still cute of the two of them. Marin's face is pretty funny.

Let it SNOW!!

So it snowed today! Nothing stuck so the only snow you can see is the snow on her hood. She didn't mind it and is too young I think to care about it, but it was fun! Thanks to Arielle for the super cute outfit, perfect snow jacket!

I absolutely love this picture!!!! We got a lot of really cute photos this day but I will just put one on.

Marin was having "tummy time" but we couldn't leave her on the floor she was just too cute, so up on the table she came. She makes a lovely center piece, don't you think?

Marin has gotten in this lovely habit of opening her mouth really wide and then lunging for your face, with a slimmy result. She thinks it is funny, I think mostly because of the reaction she gets from me.
