I thought I would put this up about our camping trips. This is our first camping trip it was fun. Michael came with us. When we went again this past weekend we asked him if he wanted to come and he asked if Marin was coming when I told him she was he said no thanks. Apparently she wasn't a dream that night he came and he likes his sleep too much. However she was much better this past weekend, which was very very nice. We went in July over the first weekend that hit over 100 degrees, why wouldn't we go camping and hiking to a place that doesn't have much shade? It was really hot, but it was a fun little trip.
Marin loved having her feet in the water it was just cool enough that she wasn't tempted to jump in which made me feel a little better, I still had to hold on to her shirt cause the rocks were slippery, but we had fun watching the guys jump.
Proof that I was there...
Mark took Marin into the tent to take a nap and when I went to go check on them I couldn't see Marin she was in the corner of the tent pulling things out of our bag and covering Mark. Mark was so tired he didn't even realise or care. Marin sure got a kick out of it though.
Michael and Marin doing "shake and bake"
Marin and Darla are pretty good friends, on this camping trip where ever the dog was there was Marin and where ever Marin was there was Darla. This is the start of our 2nd camping trip of the summer. Marin was much better at night this time, Michael you are missing out. This trip was taken this last weekend and we got rained on and hail, we actually got hail. Not the type of weather we were thinking for the middle of August. Jimmy, Lori, and Valerie came with us on this trip, it was so nice to have them there it made the trip more fun. It was nice to not be covered in sweat when we woke up, but the men were fishing and I didn't know how to make a fire out of wet wood so we were colder than we wanted to be, but you will see their catch was worth us being cold. I think.
Marin after eating cheese and crackers, she looks like Mark in this picture I think.
I couldn't help but laugh Mark went to open the mustard and it blew up all over him, everyone got a good laugh out of it, but I'm sure we found it more humorous than he did.
Valerie and Jimmy cooking hot dogs, I think it is funny that they have the same expression on their face. Like Daddy, like Daughter!
I'm not 100% sure what Mark was doing out in the hailstorm, but I'm sure it was something that was very helpful! He has a welt on his back where one of the pieces of hail hit him. I tried really hard not to laugh when he showed me that night, but hey that is what you get for being out in a hail storm.
So here is a picture of the hail storm that we got stuck in. I have a video of it also, but like I said before it isn't working so videos will have to come later! They got as big as gobstopper candies and we were only covered by a broken easy up which started to leak so we had an umbrella under the easy up and as soon as it stopped we all ran to our tents and called it a night.
Marin enjoys being outside and loved most of it.....
Jimmy, Mark and Valerie with the fish they caught that morning. You can't really tell in this picture, or any picture that I have but they are big fish!
Here is a picture of the girls checking out the fish, they didn't bother Marin a bit she was pushing them back and forth and Valerie was interested just not enough to touch them. She went over and cleaned them up, which up until she did that she thought cleaning the fish meant giving them a bath, from what I hear the process didn't bother her.

I thought we would end with my darling sister in law's pregnant belly, I still can't believe she agreed to go camping. Also this is for Lori's Mom so she can see her belly! :) Thanks again for coming it was fun you guys!
