Dance, Love, and Hot Wings?!?

The first of MANY! Marin had her first dance performance. She worked hard and practiced everyday so that she knew her "dance moves" perfectly! She got her hair curled which took a while but she thought it was hands down the best hair style to date.
Marin leading her class out onto the stage. They were seriously the cutest thing ever and I think the whole auditorium did a "ahhh" with a few giggles in there. They did awesome!
Mark brought Marin flowers if she was happy before you should have seen her when he gave her the flowers. I got stuck behind the family so I didn't get to see but I could hear her squeals of delight so I am pretty sure I know what she did.
After Mark gave her the flowers she came running over to show me. It was so nice that everyone came to support her. Almost all her Aunts and Uncles were there and all her Grandparents. We were nervous about how she would "perform" in front of a large audience but to our pleasant surprise she did great and cried next week when dance class wasn't at the "large dance place" she caught the performing bug!
Paxton likes to do EVERYTHING his sister does. He knows her dance routines almost as well as she does! Yesterday we put her dance cd on while we cleaned their room and he was doing the dances right along with her! I don't know how Mark feels about that....whatever. It is cute!
For Valentines Day we went around to the lovely singles or mostly singles in Provo, and Grandparents and dropped off cookies that were, made, rolled, cut, frosted, and decorated by Marin...they were pretty impressive to say the least. Notice the inch high sprinkles? TREATS!
My beautiful husband turned 29!!! Good gravy. So how would you celebrate your last 20's birthday? I'm hoping not the way Mark did. He took his BFF to Seans BBQ and attempted the ghost chili challenge. This picture is obviously before hand. I was nervous for him. I know he was nervous.
HA HA HA HA HA HA I debated on if I would put this picture up but honestly a picture is worth a 1000 words and this picture seriously says it all. I laugh everytime I see it. Milk, Ice, and no desire to breathe. Poor guy. He got so close to finishing it! He only had a wing and a half left. He was almost there! I wonder if he will do it again...we shall see. His buddy got close also. Mark was fast, Bryan was slow but they both failed. Oh man. It was painful to watch, but I imagine more painful to eat : ) Happy Birthday?!? Maybe 30 will be less painful : )

PS just to tell you how hot it was I smelled the hot wings and my eyes started to water. That's my man! Happy Birthday hot lips!

Happy New Year!

I know I said I was going to be better, but lets just be impressed that it only took me 2 months to get January caught up instead of 6 months. So that is improvement. I just need to come up with a better blogging plan I think. Thursday nights after the kids go to bed or something like that. Marin got to go for a train ride with her Aunt Rachel and her future Uncle Paul (Rachel and Paul are getting married in a little over a week.) She loved it and I missed her nonstop talking more than I thought I would. I was going to pull some pictures from their trip over from facebook, but I'm being lazy bottom line is they had a blast and Marin is a fan of Rachel and Paul for life now : )
H a P p Y : N e W : Y e A r : !! We stayed up sooo late...you know like 9:30 : ) Kids thought it was great we went outside shot off some streamer things and screamed Happy New Year! Maybe next year they can stay up until 9:45...we are wild over at the Ludwig household.
We went to the dinosaur museum, it is one of Marin's favorite places to go. Anywhere that allows running around and hiding from his parents makes it an awesome place for Paxton! Mark and the kids heading into the new motion something or other. It was pretty neat and they loved being able to touch everything.
We made a dinosaur! I don't remember what Marin named it, but they were pretty proud of their creation. Notice the death grip Mark has on Paxton. The reason we don't have as many pictures as the last time we went is because one was always running after our little speeding bullet.
Marin helping Mark dig for fossils. I love that when she is helping someone or watching closely she reaches up and puts her hand on that persons back.
Digging for fossils! Right after I took his picture Mark said "Oh the knees" I think we might be getting old...oh my! I was guarding the exit Paxton is fast even in sand a runner like his Daddy I guess.
Not the best of the kids, but they were both sitting and kind of looking...that is about all I can ask for now a days. They sure keep us busy!
We moved! The move was so rushed and busy that this is the one picture I snapped. Paxton crawling around our pantry. We ended up moving in with my parents, which has been so nice! Nothing like going home. We are currently building a house so we will be here until July!
One of the bonuses of us living here? Mom gets to Skype with Steven. I love skype nothing like having someone far away and being able to see them...speaking of STEVEN WE NEED TO SKYPE!

Paxton's new favorite thing is the phone! He loves to pretend anything kind of rectangular in shape is a phone. He does his closed mouth speaking and then giggles and puts in down. It is sure cute to watch them grow up!

Well the February post is on it's way. Then I have a few days until March is due....right?!?!
