From one extreme to the next
Today we went to a baseball game and it was a little on the cold side so walking home Mark decided to nix the blankets and just use his sweatshirt. Turned out well. Marin doesn't like to be confined so she was not a super happy camper but couldn't complain since she was warm.
The floating head....
The next extreme Marin got her new swimsuit the other day and I just like to see her in it so before she got ready for bed she was a little model.

Getting ready to empty her toy box.... again!

She was getting her groove on here. The girl loves to dance. Isn't her little swimsuit so cute! Man I love having a girl to dress up!

My baby is ONE!
My baby is ONE. I can't even tell you how much fun we have had with Marin this past year. I was going to do a slide of my favorite pictures of the past year, but that would be time consuming and I just don't have the time for it, so here are a handful of pictures from her birthday, maybe I will do a slide show after finals are over.
We taught Marin to put her finger up when you ask her how old she is. Yep smart little girl. I made her number 1 pancakes for breakfast. She actually ate most of it, you can see Darla in the bottom corner, Marin usually feds Darla when she is done eating so Darla will sit patiently cause she knows it coming.
So her birthday party came! So fun, we just had family over opened more presents than I have ever received on a birthday. She loved her present from D. Jay.
She is kind of looking at the camera here so this one got put on here. She looks like she is pushing the toy out of the way and saying bring on the next one.

She got some bubbles, at first she thought it was a drink and tried to drink it when nothing came out, she just held them. That is the way I like bubbles when they are indoors, closed and in their hands.

Marin was just as fascinated with the tissue paper as she was with the presents. Not so much wrapping paper but tissue paper, she was ALL over that one.

CAKE!!!!! So Mark helped Marin blow out her candle. We didn't do the single cake thing heck she only had one or two bites of the cake anyway. Not a big eater my little girl. She didn't really care about the candle or the fire. So this is a good picture she actually looked like she was looking at the cake and the candle.
Want to bet that my Mom is standing over there and that is why she is looking that way? Cake or Grandma? Cake or Grandma? Defiantly Grandma.
Marin loves balloons. Loves them. This is her in the backseat with her balloons. She is mid yawn here she was really tired that night, hooray! It was a great birthday, thank you to everyone that got her presents, cards, hugs and kisses, it was a great first birthday!

Easter!
I know it has been a while but I thought I would put a few Eater pictures up and then a few birthday pictures up. Easter was fun, my Dad, Mom, and Robbie all spoke in church. Marin LOVES my Mom so much. Needless to say as soon as she saw my Mom sitting on the stand that was the end of church for us, we were out in the hallway so Marin couldn't see my Mom. Anyway she wasn't feeling well on Easter so she is pretty expressionless.

Here she is with Robbie getting ready to head out to church
Her very cute Easter dress
The company that made her headband is called princess bling, appropriate don't you think?
When I was little if I had a dress that had a bow on the back of it my Dad always tied it for me, cause he was the best at it. So since Mark had to work my Dad got the honors yet again, so I had to get a picture of the masters work.
After church was over and Marin got to see my Mom she was pooped and ready to just sleep.

Yes Yes it has been a while......
I feel that I have a good reason for not posting, we moved. HOORAY! It is nice to be in a new place. Here are a few pictures, Marin enjoyed being packed, she liked playing with all the boxes, however it was usually about 4 at night before she got her bath, that is why she is in her PJ's in most of these pictures.
While Mark was loading up the trailer one night (this was actually around bed time so PJ's are ok) I couldn't find Marin who was at one point right behind me, so I called her name and she responded to my surprise she was escaping! Apparently she was over the packing. The look on her face just screams BUSTED.
We made it to the new place hooray! However there is a lot of painting to be done. Poor Mark had so much measuring to do in Marin's room, but it looks so good! We didn't do polka dots in this room we did stripes it looks perfect.
