Okay for some reason blogger isn't letting me rearrange my pictures and I'm done messing with it. So the title should be so on, new years and Christmas. Things have been pretty good in the Ludwig household. So far the New Year has been nice with not too many problems...of course it is only the 27
th. We hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year as you will see from our pictures we have.

Me and
Pax heading out to church he looks like a little man in this picture. That expression is classic Marin, she does that look to this day.

Here are my super duper cute kids as we were heading out the door to go to church but when they look that cute you just have to stop and take a picture, and we were still on time! Man I am loving the 11 o clock church.

Those of you that spend any time with Paxton know that when he wants to be near something or loves something he touches
foreheads with it. Mark was on the phone and was talking to Paxton on speaker phone and he would pull it up to his face (I was holding the phone lower so I could get a picture) and squeal with delight, seriously the cutest thing ever!

Winter is here again and we went sledding with some kids in the neighborhood it was really fun and all the boys that were there (they are all 5) wanted to go down the hill with Mark cause he was the fastest. Marin didn't enjoy it as much this year she would walk half way down the hill I would stop grab her and go the rest of the way down. Nothing like forcing them to have
fun.

Mark and I walked in our room to head to bed and found this. She really is sleeping but we had to make sure she wasn't faking cause she does look a little bit like she is, so we took a picture.

Marin and Paxton got some new hats. This picture is better of Marin.

And this one is better of Paxton...we just can't win. They do like their hats which is nice considering it has been so warm lately....crazy Utah weather.

My personal motto for Paxton is winter is that lovely line from A Christmas Story "I can't put my arms down." They enjoyed sledding/being pulled around the back yard.

Showing off their super cute PJ's.
Pax's union suit and Marin's rabbit
jammies.

Just hanging out. They really do play well together. Hopefully it lasts. So concludes the so on part of the post, Next up is New Years.

How did we
celebrate New Years? Well Mark played video games at his folks house with his little brother and his friends
Bev and I talked, Marin ran around like a chicken with her head cut off and Paxton slept. We got home and had a glass of milk and split a zinger....wild we are. This picture was taken at like 2:30 in the morning, don't we look super awake? And that is the end of New Years, eventful uh? Christmas...

Mark and I got a double jogging stroller which I am very excited to use come spring. Not enough people shovel their walks in the winter to bust this baby out and the streets are just too dangerous. Anyway I'm excited and so are the kids, Marin was okay as soon as she learned she didn't have to lay back she could sit like a big kid.

We had Christmas a few days early at our house because Mark was working Christmas Eve and Christmas. Plus who complains about Santa coming a few days early? Marin got a kitchen set that she LOVES and she makes us food all the time. The other day she was having soup for lunch and she wanted more bread and I told her to take a few more bites of soup and then she could have more. She got up went to her kitchen made herself some bread (she has a play french bread loaf) and brought her bread over to eat. She is showing off her eggs in this picture.

Michael, Mark, and Marin
with the princess puzzle that took a while to make cause it is one of those hologram puzzles. I did it and it didn't take THAT long...men!

Paxton as you can tell is SUPER excited you know with him being almost 5 month old at the time.

Is it sad that the times I see myself in my kids is when they first wake up. Marin has an Erin look about her when she wakes up.... Anyway as you can tell she is a little "over whelmed" her Grandma's were there and that threw her for a loop and then presents! Yes over whelmed is a good word for it.

The "Santa Came!!" picture.

She got up super early a few days before Christmas so she cuddled up on the couch with our Christmas blankets and Mark's coat and went back to sleep.

Our Christmas family picture.

And it only took us til December to get a full family picture since Daniel came home in July. We also got a full family picture with Mark's family we have yet to get the CD of that event. That picture took a bit longer considering there are 22 of us and 9 kids 9 and under.
Surprisingly those pictures turned out great!
Alright there is my backwards post! We will post again in a few months...weeks...days. Depending on what happens I guess. As I finish this up Mark and Marin are playing hide and seek. Mark has decided it is a little difficult to play with Darla (the dog) around since she "seeks" and then barks until you come out of hiding or the other person finds you. Hope everyone is doing well and has more success than Mark is having at hide and seek.
